In HTML, what tag creates an unordered list?

<ol>

<li>

<ul>

Unordered lists in HTML are created with the ul tag. The ul element signals a list where items appear with bullet points by default. Each item inside the list is defined with li elements; the li tags must be children of a ul (or ol) to be part of a list. The other tags don’t create lists: ol makes a numbered (ordered) list, li on its own is just a single item and needs a list container, and div is just a generic block container with no list semantics. So the tag that creates an unordered list is ul.
